If you get offended very easily, don’t read it ahead. And, If You Have a Problem with this, that’s your problem.

Social Media Activism:

In, Last 2 Years if you open any social media ( Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, etc., you 2–3 types of things, people were doing the protest or showing support for any cause ( climate change, politics, etc. )

And, all those People want their voice should reach to the maximum audience.

Problem With It:

People got very deep into it, and After Putting a story they think that their country changes and all the wrong things are no more.

Main Problem in Social Media Activism is: Hypocrisy and Herd-Mentality

Hypocrisy: People sitting in a room with AC on and talking about climate change, People Coming in Cabs and busses for Air-Pollution Protest with Mobile/Camera in their hands just to show that they were in a protest.

People Talking about political leaders, parties, despite them they didn’t have a voter id nor of their self-opinion.

False Sense of Pride: Sharing the things out they feel very proud that they have done their part.

If you wanted to know all things or wanted to build your opinion about a particular event, just go through the articles, read it, discuss it, and then decide.

Activism V/S Action:

By Protesting you are just showing your opinion, you still have to do an Action to fix/improve it.

The Not So Simple Solution:

Your Opinion Should be your opinion, If Your Woke Friend shares/tweeted a thing and retweeted it, that doesn’t count as your opinion.

Repeat After Me:

Your opinion Should be your opinion,

It Should Be Well-Read

It Should Be Well-Researched

It Should Be Well-Informed
